Live To write another Day

Live to Write another Day

Being a writer is work. Anyone who says it’s easy and fun either have never done it or are lying to you so that you will join in our insanity. This is a mean obsession where else in the world would you willing hand over your latest creation to be murdered be people you ask to do it. Writing is the ultimate form of insanity. So do it? A lot of times an author can’t explain it we are driven to is the answer we as writers give. Normal people then quickly step away from us.

Dean Orion has given us a better answer in his book Live to Write Another Day. We have in us a gene a very special gene not yet discovered by science. We have the writer’s gene and so we kill our self’s to write why because it is in us this insane drive to create. We can bot stop it and some of us can barely control it. This is where Dean blessedly steps in. His book helps identify the gene but he also shows us how to feed it, control it and in the end put the worlds we create down on paper. Then send them out into the world on their own.

As you can probably tell I’m a writer. Well I want to be. I have read and owned dozens of writing books. I still do . This is one of the books I wish I could own permanently. Not only because The book is so well written but because of it’s layout. At the end of every chapter there is a chapter review that sums up everything we learned.
